Brian surprised me for a fun anniversary getaway weekend in Chicago to celebrate the exciting, eventful and enjoyable first year of marriage we’ve had. It was a great weekend exploring Chicago going to the Art Institute, Shedd Aquarium, Wrigley Field for the Cubs game and walking around downtown Chicago.

Watching the Gator game at Sully’s House. #GoGators!

Spending Labor Day weekend at Chicago’s River Hotel.

The view from our room of downtown Chicago. Such an amazing view!

Walking around Millenium Park.

The Art Institute of Chicago. Thanks to Bank of America for the “Museums on us” promotion. We enjoyed the complimentary experience.

The Married with Children Fountain at Grant Park.

Under the Sea at the Shedd Aquarium.

Wrigley Field for the Cubs game!

Unbelievable seats in the bullpen. Stretch it out boys!

Line-drive action. We were alert throughout the whole game.

We enjoyed a glass of wine in the Signature Lounge at the John Hancock Observatory.

We happened to find the “Tweet to Drive” – @DriveBuickChi car in our parking garage. So we asked for a test drive for a fun tour of Chicago on Labor Day. Such a great car and a cool social media promotion. “Tweet to Drive” till the end of October!
Thank you for the amazing anniversary celebration Brian!
