New Adventures in 2011 as Social Media Manager for GMR Marketing

2010 was an exciting year that brought great opportunities and amazing experiences as Brian and I moved from Charlotte to Milwaukee. It was a year I will never forget and I am very grateful for all that I achieved in such a short period of time. Getting hired at Comet Branding, and the exposure it received, was truly unbelievable and I had a lot of fun connecting with so many great people in the social media space.

Over the past year, I have developed a true passion for working in digital marketing and social media while working alongside a talented team at Comet Branding and successfully launching Blue Wheel Photography.

Now, I am overly excited to start a new adventure in my professional career as I begin a position as the Social Media Manager for GMR Marketing, beginning January 3rd! It is a tremendous honor to join such a credible agency as I have already enjoyed working with the majority of employees in the GMR-Charlotte office.

Heading into 2011, I look forward to new opportunities spearheading GMR’s client efforts in the social media space and working with a great team of talented individuals.

I’m also excited to announce that I will be on the United Adworkers Board in 2011! Adworkers is an organization that I have a lot of respect for, as it keeps the local Milwaukee advertising and marketing community connected. As a Board Member, it is my goal to further engage with local students and professionals by continuing to expand our social media efforts.

I want to send a big thanks to the Comet team for all the knowledge and expertise I have gained from working with all of you. I will carry these skill sets and fun experiences along with me as I continue my career.

2011 will be one exciting year! Here’s to meeting many talented individuals both in person and online. Best wishes  and many successes in the New Year.
