Happy Follow Friday! It has been another great week in the social media space. This week I wanted to give special mentions to some people, and a particular cat, for their expertise in sports and social media.

Jason is the founder of Highway 24 Media, LLC and North Hills Buzz and product manager at eWayDirect. Jason runs a personal blog called “Take a Peck,” which focuses on sports business, sponsorship, new media and social networking.

Jason is a true entrepreneur and a genuine social media expert. He brings a lot of great ideas that are recognized by other professionals in his field.

One of my favorite cats is the Carolina Panthers mascot, Sir Purr. This cat has gone social and working hard on entertaining the Charlotte community.
